Okay, so I just went to make a post, and it won't let me upload any more photos! What a rip off! I thought blogger was supposed to be free? It says that I have to pay to upload more photos. I know there is a way that I can fix it, I just need to research it. I don't want to be miserly with my pictures, I love lots of pictures! So, I guess this means I'll write my blog later.
I hope ya'll have a great weekend!
Missy
I am having the same problem! So far I have found no solution; if I do I will gladly share...
ReplyDeleteYou can either upload your pics to Flickr and then html link them into your posts or get a new gmail address and add it onto your blog as another author in settings. This doubles your picasa allowance. It's a good idea to size your pics down before uploading to blogger as you only get 1gb of picasa storage. Alternatively you can log into picasa and delete any old or duplicate pics. :)
ReplyDeleteI fixed it. Can I email you? I may be easier. It's the size of your photos but be careful with Picasa. IF you delete your photos there, they may be gone from your blog too.
ReplyDeleteAll you have to do is size the photos for 800 x 600 and it does not count against your storage. To do this, I use my Microsoft Picture Manager that came with my computer. You just pull up your photo that you have NOT uploaded to blogger. Then go to PICTURE and then RESIZE. There should be a pop up on the right that give you choices. Select the preset drop down box and pick 800 x 600 (to keep the ratio correct). Then say OK and save it under a NEW NAME (I say for example Dog resize to ID it) that size to your My Pictures or Documents file. Upload using that resized file. You can then delete the special resized photo from your computer if you don't want it. It loads lots faster and doesnt' seem to make a difference. It may if you have a photography blog but for general purposes, it shouldn't matter.
email me if this doesn't make sense. I may be able to do some screen shots and send them to you.

Bummer - I hope you can figure it out. All my pics are resized to 800 or smaller.... they still show up well on the computer but are much smaller.
