These blue flowers are beautiful! |
Don't you love this bird? |
Plymouth Economy - I actually won this at the TOGA, I just need more information on it! |
Featherweights! |
See this knee bar? They are very rare, it reminds me of a crow bar! This is a Singer 99k |
Spartan - I love how each person has their own little personality in the middle of their machine! |
I love the colors of the old machines! |
What pretty machines!
ReplyDeleteAwesome...what a collection of machines in the room. I don't have anything vintage other than my 1980's Singer. But I do keep my eyes open for good deals on Craigslist for any sewing machines. I figure it never hurts to have a spare or two around.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see all of those OLD machines being taken care of and used and loved.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the time and posting of the pics!
I just acquired a 221 featherweight, which sews like a dream. I also have a 1900 Singer treadle and a Singer 99...my favorite machines are the ones that have been around awhile :) The machines you have shared are so lovely...and the fact that they are so easy to use and maintain, makes sewing a joy! m.
ReplyDeleteNow that is what I call a bunch of vintage sewing machines. Some are so neat with all the detail work.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely vintage sewing machines. I could not pick just one. I have an old singer treadle, for show only although it does work.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend,

wonderful machines from time gone by. Thank you for sharing at the Thursday Favorite Things hop xo
ReplyDeleteAh - such beauties! I love the Singer shuttle bobbin machine I have. A hand cranked machine has so much better precision control than an electric (although I have one of these too).
