I put them in a bowl with some green ornaments I had and set them on top of the almost finished table runner.
I decided to use two fabrics and make pinwheels. I los the "scenes" but like the way it turned out.
I've been filling in for sick teachers at school, so who knows when I will have time to baste and bind it! One more week before Christmas break!
Oreo wanted to help me. There was a loose piece of material and he decided to grab it and carry it around. He was having trouble walking with it between his legs, wish I could have gotten a back shot!Of course his sister wanted to help!
Then he decided to try to eat it , so I took it away and cut that piece off!
Are you working on any last minute Christmas stuff?
Missy
The ornaments are very pretty. I love your table runner too. Pinwheels are one of my very favorite blocks.
ReplyDeleteI love all the vintage ornaments. I just finished 4 purses, and I'm working on a stocking for my future daughter-in-law, who will be coming, with my son, next week for an early Christmas.
ReplyDeleteEverything I do feels last minute! Luckily I've got some time off next week where I hope to make headway on quilting my nephews quilt.
ReplyDeleteGreat cat photos. My "toddler" is having tantrums cuz he wants to go out but it's cold and snowing. Gotta love our kids!
A very pretty centerpiece Missy! Love your kooky cats too. Our old cat Buster used to do things like that and it always made us laugh. This is certainly the time of year for last minute stuff, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI so love your vintage Christmas ornaments. Your table runner runner turned out fantastic. Love it.

The table runner looks great! Love your bowl of ornaments too. I have a bowl that my mother-in-law gave me years ago and I've been wanting to put ornaments in it but I don't have the ornaments! I'll have to be on the look-out for vintage ones. I like the way yours look.
