I wanted to share pictures of Kenzie with her quilt, I sent it off a couple of weeks ago and her grandmother gave it to her and her mother on Saturday. I kept it a secret from them and used Mrs. Bassett as my go between.
Amy(the mom) wrote a nice message on Facebook on getting the quilt that I want to share with ya'll.
"So this morning I get a message from my mother saying she had something for Kenzie and could I come get it. I said sure. We all piled up in the van and after nearly losing the wheelchair, it came undone from the lift, we made it. What was waiting moved me beyond words. A friend of mine and the prayer quilting group she is a part of made an amazing quilt for Kenzie. It is so very special to know that as these ladies gathered to make this beautiful quilt they spent time praying for my angel. Such a very thoughtful gift. I am so amazingly blessed to have so many friends praying for us and my girl. I certainly would not have made it all these years without The Lord and prayers that have been lifted. This will be a treasure forever and there aren't words grand enough to say how much it means. Thank you so much Missy Shay and the Kingdom Baptist Prayer Quilt ministry and friends!"

Amy left a message on the original post that she wanted to share with everyone.
"I want to thank all of you for this amazing quilt! My sweet Kenzie is curled up on the couch with all of your prayers as I type. It is so amazingly special to me and we will treasure this gift forever. Thank you doesnt seem like enough but I do thank you with all I have in me."

I want to thank everyone who sent pinwheels and fabric to help make this quilt for this special little girl. It blessed Kenzie and her mother both.
Thank you!
Missy
Acts 20:35 "I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive."
Missy, I was blessed, too, by the generosity of the Kingdom Baptist Prayer Quilt ministry, and by being able to be the presenter of the quilt. Thank you to all who had a part in the making of the quilt and for the many prayers that were sent up for Mackenzie. The quilt is BEAUTIFUL!!!
