Painting!

I have decided I need new dining room furniture, but I do not have any money to buy some.  What is a girl gonna do?  I started with painting my $5 table shabby chic!
This is my "office"  corner in the dining room.  That is Squeeky under the table, she is usually pretty quiet so you don't see her much.
Recovering my husband's old office chair is on my list too.  Cupcake and Oreo think it is their chair.
Right now I am painting my baker's rack, it was black with dark green specks.  All my husband needs to do now is Sand it and then apply a coat of polyurethane.
I spent Tuesday evening, baking, decorating and packaging over 100 cupcakes for a fundraiser at school.
Sunday night I asked my husband to help me move my industrial treadle to the living room so I can finish quilting my quilt.  I have not had a chance to touch it I have been so busy!  But Oreo is enjoying the quilt.
Yes, I'm keeping it real in this picture.  That is a huge mound of clothes waiting to be put up.  At least they are clean!  The cats have also strewn their toys everywhere.

Pretty tired today,
Missy

Love how our cats worm their way into and onto every single quilt! Great ideas and looks great to repaint your table and the baker's rack! Amazing how it transforms the article!

Looks like you are having an exhausting time. Only ones getting rest are the kitties!

Total #CreativeGoodness. Thanks for sharing and inspiring. I love your baker's rack. I also love how you package the cupcakes for the fundraiser. This may sound like I'm totally stupid (I was dropped on my head as an infant), but I'm not sure how you added the foil on the top. Looks so finished. Tips appreciated, as I would like to try this for packaging cupcakes for such fundraisers and neighbor gifts.

PS - I have some bedroom furniture that I want to paint. Haven't yet gotten around to it, but I'll look for any tips you can share.

I keep finding furniture and fixing it and we paint it and use if for different purposes. LOL I have a couch covered with clothes that need to be folded, we just walk by and grab what we need. Good job repurposing the furniture.

Well, now I'm pretty tired just reading this. You sure have been getting a lot done. The thing that caught my eye though, was your sewing machine!! And then all the ones in the sidebar. Beautiful. Keep on treadling!!(And cranking!)

Love how your table turned out. I have been doing a lot of painting myself.
