I have been busy rearranging and cleaning. I am not tutoring down in my basement this year, I had a classroom and my office set up down there. I never go down there anymore and I really needed an office for my Pampered Chef stuff. We had set up the third bedroom as a guest room, but it was never used and just a waste of space. I took the bed out, moved the book shelves to form a little library area, we put a love seat in there, and moved a small computer desk and my computers in there. I am very happy with it! It is my spot for work, doing devotions, reading, etc.
I told my husband that he needs to build me custom shelves for this room! As you can see, I do not have enough room and I haven't even put all of my books in here yet!

I don't think it's possible to have room for all my books, especially in just one room. We are all bookaholics. I think I'd need a whole bookshelf, or 2, just for the books hiding under the guest bed.
I think it's a good idea to utilize the space for what you need. The corner with all the pretty windows makes a perfect reading area.
I love how you set up your new space. I don't think I'd ever want to move from that cozy loveseat by the windows. That looks the best!
What a nice area! It's looks so cozy and I love the reading nook. The picture with the sofa (?) and yellow curtains looks so beautiful.
Love your new spot! You are right....it doesn't make sense to need a room for something and have a room that isn't being used.....I'm glad to see your Kitty approves.....
