Sewing Class - Library Bags

Last week my small class made library bags!  It actually took them two weeks.  Zoe came to class Monday with all of her material for her apron in her new bag!
She has a great eye for color and putting things together.
I accidently forgot to have Alayna cut the straps on her bag, so they are too long, but it makes a great crossover bag!
She loves working on her hand crank!

Caitlyn was not able to finish her bag in class, she finished it at home.  I'll get a picture of her with her bag next week!  Yes, Cupcake was hanging out in class with us.

Pippi comes down and sews with us also!  Monday, I only had one girl.  One was at church camp and the other was sick.
Zoe was able to finish her apron.  She did a great job picking out colors again!

What are some of your favorite sewing projects for little girls?  We only have one summer class left.  This Fall we will move our classes to Friday mornings, unfortunately I will lose one student because of school.  The other ones don't have school on Fridays.  We will start a quilt.

Have a great day everyone!

Don't forget to let me know if you would like to host a virtual Pampered Chef party!

Yea, I can comment again. That apron is great! Cute bags, too.

What lovely girls and how fun that you are teaching them a wonderful skill. And you even teach them to turn "mistakes" into design opportunities. :-) That is so great. Pillowcases would be a good project for them. Or maybe placemats or rug mugs?
