Feline Friday

I have not done a Feline Friday in a while!  I put this door/table behind my sewing machine in the living room.  There is almost always a cat sleeping on my material there.  LOL
This is Pippi and when I took her picture the only acknowledgement was her ears laid back.

 This was a surprise picture I found on my phone, my husband must have taken this picture.  Please excuse my pj bottoms.  Tiger always sits next to my husband on the couch.  He was supposed to be my cat!

 Tater has learned from the other cats that to get my attention while I am sewing is to lay on my machine.

 Cupcake knows how to get my immediate attention though!

 Oreo knows that all he has to do is roll over and show me his belly and I am a goner!

My cats are a sure distraction!  LOL

Fringey Banners

I have been making banners!

I hurt my foot a couple of weeks ago and I needed something to do while sitting on the couch.  I am happy it did not happen until after my TOGA!  I am sorry I have not been replying to comments, but for some reason they are not showing up in my emails.  I appreciate all of your comments though and will try to figure it out.

I'm having fun making these!  I am going to sell them at a festival in October.  Let me know if you have any suggestions.  I am also going to make some pendant ones too!

I have another one that I want to add some strips of denim to and then I will share that picture also.
You know I would have help with making them of course!

Feline Friday

I have some random cat pictures for you and some updates on Tater.  She is doing a lot better, her ears still have some swelling and I think will be permanently scarred.  She is very hyper and smart and is picking up all of the bad habits and learning from my other six cats.  She is constantly watching them.

Tater likes to bite and scratch and when she starts doing that we give her her frog to bite and scratch instead.

Here is another picture of my village, not anything fancy just what I have picked up at yard sales and thrift stores.  Oreo is under the piano bench.  Next to Oreo is the Nativity that my Mom cross stitched for me.

Feline Friday and Good Cat Food Resources

Welcome to another Feline Friday!  Oreo could not figure out why I put him on the table when I usually yell at them to get off the table, but he matched my quilt so well!  LOL 

I love my cats and I want to make sure they get the healthiest cat food possible!  We usually make our own cat food, but that is not always convenient, especially with seven cats!

Oreo loves the mint, since he is only allowed out on the deck, this is his "dirt"  LOL

Of course Muffin loves the catnip.  It does not look quite as pretty now that the cats have decided to sit in it and "snuffle" and eat it!  LOL

What are your thoughts on cat food?  We will not feed our cats anything with corn or meat by products.  Corn is very bad for your cats, their body cannot digest it very well.  We never have to take them to the vet and they usually live to be about 18 years old.

I am very behind on the latest Sew Sweet Bee blocks.  I really liked how easy this block was, but I can't sewing everything upside down.  This block was for Elaine aka Summer Crafter

 Pippi has decided that my dress form is her new cat bed, I think she looks good in flowers!

 She looked so cute in this pink bow but she did not like it and took it off.

 Oreo decidedly hates pink and refused to wear it for even a second!

Cupcake loves my treadle!

I set this bowl on the floor for a moment to pull out the other bowls I have to set inside it in the cabinet.  I wasn't quick enough, She thought it made a great bed!  LOL

I had used it to soak my corn on the cob before I grilled them.

How do you like to grill your corn?

 I have a lot of cat pictures to share today!  I hope you are ready for an extra dose of cuteness!
Cupcake wanted a belly rub!  She has such a fat belly!

 Muffin thinks the Papasan chair is his!  He sits and waits for whomever to get up then he is right back in his chair.

 Look what came in the mail!  Pampered Chef sure has some cute kitties!  Custard doesn't quite fit though.

 Oreo was helping me fill out my agenda for Pampered Chef parties.  I do not have any parties scheduled after July 15.  I would love to have a Facebook, catalog, or live cooking show party with you!

Sew Sweet Bee, Embroidery, and Retreats!

 In case you forgot what I look like since it has been so long since I blogged!
I finally finished May's Sew Sweet Bee Block, I feel so bad being sooo late on it.
This block is for Donna, it is her pattern that you can find here.
She wanted 30's print.

Of course Pippi had to help!

My sewing room is a mess right now since I have not had time to clean it or sew.  I am teaching a sewing class for three little girls, I keep forgetting to take pictures, and I have them set up in the basement.  I just borrowed Alayna's sewing machine real quick to make my block.

My husband bought me the solar flamingo for my car!

 Pat, a lady from my church, was kind enough to help me do embroidery on my new Pampered Chef apron.  I thought it needed something extra.

It is hard to see in the picture, but we put my name in pink at the top, and a flower in the corner.  I also added some ric-rac.

 I went to a ladies retreat a couple of weeks ago and forgot my jacket.  My quilt was a good substitute!

This was our bunks where we slept.  I had to bring a quilt of course!  This is one my grandmother made.

 Cupcake packed herself.

 Then Oreo packed himself.  But I had to leave them both behind.

I have been busy setting up my new Pampered Chef business.  I love selling Pampered Chef and my favorite parts are the cooking shows at people's houses.  If you live within an hour of Ava, MO I can do a show for you.  I also do Facebook parties and will do at least one live demo during the show.  I can do fundraisers, bridal showers, freezer workshop meals, and more!
